Dr. Lock received a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She holds a Bachelor degree in Kinesiology (B.Kin) from McMaster University. She was also successful in achieving the distinction of Certified Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Provider from McMaster University.

Since then, Dr. Lock has focused her continuing education on soft tissue therapies, and methods to correct biomechanical dysfunction in the body. She retains a keen interest in Rehabilitative and Sports Medicine, and with experience as a competitive swimmer, she is acutely aware of the demands and expectations imposed on athletes.

Having worked as an Assistant over a period of 7 years in an Orthodontic Dental office, Dr. Lock has retained a personal connection and interest in working to correct Jaw/Mouth dysfunction and pain.

Recognizing that each person has unique needs and concerns, Dr. Lock creates a specific and personalized treatment plan to meet the individualized goals of each patient. Dr. Lock uses a variety of techniques in her practice. She is a certified Graston Technique Practitioner, certified Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Provider (McMaster University), and has completed certification courses in Lumbopelvic Dysfunction, Lower Quadrant Functional Assessment and Treatment, Cervicothoracic Biomechanics & Treatment, and Extremity Specifics with the Motion Palpation Institute.
